The GSEA competition proudly presents our remarkable 2022 Global Champion, Nick Cotter! As the co-founder of Cotter Agritech, Nick and his brother Jack heeded their calling for entrepreneurship from a very young age. Cotter Agritech is the third successful start-up venture by the Irish brothers and is an evident representation of their desire to make a positive impact in the world of agriculture. Their game-changing SmartWorm software offers a cost-effective solution to livestock farmers and has the ability to leave a positive footprint on the environment on a global scale. Throughout the local and international pitching sessions, Nick Cotter’s passion and determination won over the hearts and the minds of our GSEA global finals judges and earned him the coveted title of this year’s champion. to win US$50,000

At the Global Finals, students compete for a total prize package of US$100,000 in cash, with first place receiving US$50,000. Second place receives US$20,000 and third place, US$10,000.
